Procedure
1. Find an empty space and gather all equipment.
2. Pour 100ml of vinegar in a 250 mL beaker, then put two eggs in the cups at the same time. Leave the eggs for about 24 hours.
3. Take out the eggs from the beaker and wash them carefully. Pour the vinegar out and wash the beaker.
4. Observe the appearances of the eggs and record them into the first column in Data Table 1.
5. Measure the mass of each egg and write the information down in the first column in Data Table 2.
6. Pour 150 mL of colored water in a 250 mL beaker, and then pour the same amount of corn syrup in another beaker. Label each beaker using tape and record the volume for each substance in the first column of Data Table 3.
7. Place an egg in each beaker and leave them for another 24 hours
8. After a day, take out the eggs and put them on top of a napkin.
9. Observe each egg and record the appearance observation in the second column in Data Table 1.
10. Measure the mass of each egg and record it down in Data Table 2.
11. Check the volume of liquid left over in the beakers and write them down in Data Table 3.
12. Use a toothpick and carefully poke a hole on the outside of the egg and check out the inside of the egg. Record down the observations in the last column of Data Table 1.
